Firearm Transfer FAQ (frequently Asked Questions)
Are you accepting transfers? Yes, if this page is up then we are accepting transfers. There is no need to ask.
What is 4C's Gunworks Transfer Fee? $10 if you have a License to Carry, and $20 if you don't. Additional Service Fee's are on our Services Page.
Do you sell firearms? Yes, we would much rather sell you a firearm from one of our many distributors than receive a firearm in on transfer. We understand that we can't source all firearms, but often times the firearms arrive directly from distributors we have relationships with.
Can I pickup my firearm as soon as it arrives? 4C's Gunworks is probably not the best FFL for you if you are in a hurry to pickup your firearm. Please do not send tracking info when your firearm is out for delivery or has been delivered. We will notify you as soon as it is ready for pickup.
What do I need to do after purchasing a firearm online? 4C's Gunworks is setup in most online retailers systems (Gunbroker, Grabagun, Gunprime, Buds, Palmetto...) and they already have our FFL setup in their system. We do not reach out to your seller on your behalf, but will respond to their request for our license information. Please send them the email address admin@4csgunworks.com if they can't find the link at the bottom of the page with our FFL Info.
I purchased a firearm online and they need a copy of your FFL. Ask your seller to email admin@4csgunworks.com, and we will send them the information they need for shipping. Do not ask us to email your seller on your behalf. You can also send them the link on the bottom of this page with our FFL Information.
Will I be notified when my firearm arrives? YES, We will send you notification as soon as your firearm is ready for pickup. Please allow 48hr for processing if you haven't heard from us. Notification will be sent via text message to the phone number provided in the shipping label when the item is ready. We will arrange a time to meet so that you can complete the paperwork.
How do you collect payment for FFL transfers? Cash, Card, Venmo, or Zelle. For cash, change isn't always available so it is helpful to have the exact amount.
What do I need to bring when I pickup my new firearm? You will need a valid government issued ID. The address must match your current address. No exceptions to this rule.
The address on my ID does not match my current address, what should I bring? Along with your valid ID, bring your voters registration card or vehicle registration notice. Any document that you have received from a Government intity is acceptable.
What is the process when I arrive? You will complete the ATF form 4473 electronically on an IPad. This includes all License To Carry holders.

Do I need to fill out the paperworks before I arrive? No, the background check process normally takes 10 minutes to complete once you complete the ATF form 4473.
Please expect to pay a storage fee of $20 per month for items left over 30 days.

How long does it take to get my product? Most orders will be placed with the distributor on the same day. Depending on the time of the day, the item will be sent out within 2 days. We don't drop ship today, so if you are not picking up locally, your item will be inspected and sent out to your FFL.
